Sifu Benny Arnel Besa. My honored teacher Sifu Benny Arnel Besa. Benny A. Besa started Western Boxing and Doce Pares Arnis at the age of 6. At the age of 8 he learned Combat Judo. Later he studied Praying Mantis and Eagle Claw Kung Fu under the late Master Ely Sarsosa. He trained a short while with George Lim on 108 Wu-Style Tai Chi Chuan and continued under senior instructor Lilo Madrona back in 1987. Sifu Benny started training in Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan with Roberto Cinco in 1993, then he moved on to learn the Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan. 1996 he started teaching Tai Chi Chuan in the Philippines. In 2003, attented the instructors seminar conducted by the Wushu Federation of the Philippines under sec. general Edwin Pimentel and moved on to become the Phil. National Tai Chi Gold Medallist in the 42-Step Tai Chi Chuan and 32-Step Tai Chi Jian. He defended his title and won again in 2004 while at the same time was the asst. coach for the Wushu Federation team Cebu Chapter headed by Coach Li Peng Lei, who was a stunt double of Jet Li in the movie HERO. Peng Lei also trained him in Chang Quan or Long Fist. It is an great honor for me to be teached by him, he is a real martial artist. Grandmaster Aiping Cheng. My honored teacher Grandmaster Aiping Cheng in the USA. Grandmaster Aiping Cheng is one of the world's foremost authorites in Chinese Martial Arts (CMA). With over 40 years of training, competing, coaching, and teaching, few can match her credentials. In 2008, Aiping was awarded the 8th Duan from the International Wushu Sanshou Dao Association for her skill, knowledge and teaching. This recognition is rare outside of China. She has been a member of the elite Chinese National Wushu Team six times (1973,1974,1975,1979,1987,1988). Three time all-China National Tai Chi Chuan Champion. 1999 rated at a top world-level in Tai Chi Chuan and Wushu by the International Wushu Association in Beijing. She studied intensively under world known Traditional Tai Chi Chuan Masters such as Fu Zhongwen, Sun Jianyun, Li Yulin, Li Tianji, Chen Zhenglei, and Chen Xiaowang. Selected as a member of the prestigious committee in Beijing that would, for the first time, establish Chinese National Competition Standards and Rules for Tai Chi Chuan, Tai Chi Sword, and Push Hands. Established the Aiping Tai Chi Wushu Center on the First World Tai Chi Day, April 10, 1999. She won more than 30 gold medals in wushu disciplines. Aiping Cheng was awarded A Top World Level by the International Wushu Association. Actually she gives classes in Tai Chi Chuan all Styles, Qi Gong, Baguazhang, Xing Yi. Meeting Grandmaster Aiping for the first time in 2011, it is a great honor for me to be teached by her. Grandmaster Aiping Cheng will visit Art of Tai Chi Chuan in September 2014 to give workshops on Tai Chi Chuan and Push-Hands. We are looking forward to it :-)
